This painting was inspired by the glorious skies seen here from Port Erin beach of a summers evening in the Isle of Man. The light falls and engages with all it touches; turning ordinary wet sand into a thing of exquisite beauty. The thing is, does one stand and gaze, or does one wade in and enjoy swimming into the sunset?
