An artist talks about what she sees and relates it to her faith in the living God
About
I live in Port Erin, Isle of Man and my delight is to paint the Manx Landscape and to share it’s beauty. As a Christian artist it is my desire also to share the love of God. To encourage and to inspire others in their faith through the truth of the Scriptures expressed in everyday things.
I studied at the prestigious Bath Academy of Art in the 70’s and have
painted with determination and passion ever since.
Living in the Isle of Man I have found the mists and incredible light to be my constant companions. With subtleties of colour and a prolonged working process, my aim is to evoke a response from the viewer and an opportunity to lose themselves in the vastness of the landscape, whatever the size of the work.
